About Us

The Society pursues and encourages everyone in the care and preservation, development and improvement of general public amenity and in the environmental management of the use and reuse of land as it is a scarce resource. We pursue these objectives by means of meetings, exhibitions, lectures, publications and other schems of a charitable nature. For many years the Civic Trust has had a good working relationship with the City of Salford and we are consulted about most planning , conservation, traffic and environmental matters that impact on our local area.

The committee meets monthly and is always keen to welcome members to put forward ideas and prospective projects which will improve the amenities within out catchment area which is shown in the map below.
